English Language

Often at repeated intervals the English language comes as a topic of public debate. There are bouts of sudden dislike for the language by some, but most of the time it becomes impossible to move ahead without its use. Language is basically a means to communicate and learn. There can be no doubt that the reach of English Language is by and large widest. Why then so much of an issue ? Times of India today while responding to the call of Senior Political Leader Mr Mulayam Singh to ban English in Parlaiment aptly remarks that "English is a link language in Parlaiment, it is a language of opportunity".
